DeskCenter part of DiALOG Award 2019

    Long-standing DeskCenter customer, engelbert strauss GmbH & Co. KG, receives award for its centralized and customized IT management using DeskCenter Management Suite.

    DeskCenter Solutions AG, a software provider based in Leipzig, was honored as part of the DiALOG Award 2019. engelbert strauss, manufacturer of workwear, was named winner of the Enterprise Information Management Award this year with its DeskCenter Management Suite. It received this award for its use of future-oriented structural models and user concepts in company administration. engelbert strauss has been using DeskCenter Management Suite since 2011.

    engelbert strauss GmbH & Co. KG is one of the fastest growing medium-sized companies today. The number of its employees and company sites is steadily growing along with the number of its IT assets. To ensure that these assets can also be managed efficiently and securely, the workwear manufacturer chose DeskCenter Management Suite back in 2011 as its comprehensive IT management solution. This solution has been helping them manage over 1,400 systems and 1,600 components easily and efficiently, ensuring that the IT infrastructure remains flexible and sustainable.

    The goal was to find a solution to help manage the various IT areas centrally and based on individual needs according to certain criteria in order to integrate location-specific and cross-location processes. To do this, components such as Software Asset Management (SAM), License Management, Software Deployment and Helpdesk with a ticket system played a big role. engelbert strauss also used DeskCenter Management Suite to implement operating system management with its automatic new computer setup based on predefined rules. Thanks to DeskCenter Management Suite, many processes and workflows at engelbert strauss were optimized, standardized, automated, and simplified. Furthermore, this IT management solution offers scalability and flexibility, saving time to ensure the stability of IT operations and lower costs over the long term.
